Editorial and Peer Review Policy The Journal of Thought on Resistance in the Discourse of the Islamic Revolution serves as a specialized platform for theoretical research and discourse analysis in the field of resistance. The journal adheres strictly to international academic and ethical standards and is committed to a double-blind peer review and open access policy. In this process, the identities of both reviewers and authors remain concealed to ensure an impartial, scientific, and conflict-free evaluation environment. The journal follows the ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the Executive Bylaw for Preventing Academic Misconduct, as approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran. The journal is dedicated to maintaining the highest professional standards in manuscript evaluation, review, and acceptance. Manuscript Evaluation and Review Process 1. Submission and Initial Registration: Manuscripts are submitted exclusively through the journal’s electronic system and are preliminarily registered by the editorial office for initial screening. 2. Initial Assessment by Section Editor and Editor-in-Chief: A preliminary evaluation is conducted regarding the manuscript's structure, subject relevance, originality, and alignment with the journal's aims and thematic priorities. At this stage, the manuscript may be: Rejected outright due to lack of alignment with the journal’s approach or standards; Returned to the author for initial revisions (structural, formal, or substantive); Accepted for peer review if it meets the initial criteria. 3. Peer Review: Once the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is forwarded to at least two expert reviewers in the relevant field. In cases of conflicting reviewer opinions (e.g., one acceptance and one rejection), a third reviewer will be assigned. 4. Review Outcome Assessment: Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor-in-chief and editorial board will make one of the following decisions: Final acceptance of the manuscript; Rejection due to scientific or content-related reasons; Request for minor or major revisions by the author. 5. Revision and Re-evaluation: Upon submission of the revised manuscript, it will be re-evaluated by a designated comparative reviewer to ensure that the necessary revisions have been accurately and adequately implemented. 6. Final Decision and Acceptance Letter: If the revised version is approved by both reviewers and the editorial board, an official acceptance letter will be issued, and the manuscript will proceed to the publication preparation phase. 7. Article Processing Charge (APC): In accordance with Resolution No. 40879 dated 14 May 2022 (24/02/1401), manuscripts that receive final acceptance are subject to a publication fee, as stipulated by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. 8. Scientific, Structural, and Linguistic Editing: The accepted manuscript undergoes comprehensive academic and linguistic editing. The author’s confirmation is required for clarification or revision of any ambiguous sections prior to layout and typesetting. 9. Final Publication: The article is scheduled for inclusion in the appropriate issue by the editorial board. Following layout and formatting, it is published on the journal’s online platform, with its electronic version accessible to authors, readers, and indexing databases.
