The journal began its academic activity in 2005 (1384 Hijri Shamsi) under the title Motahar Quarterly. After the publication of 51 issues, it continued under its current title: Resistance Thought in the Discourse of the Islamic Revolution. This quarterly was established with the aim of scientifically elucidating, analyzing, and reinterpreting various dimensions and manifestations of the notion of resistance within the intellectual and cultural framework of the Islamic Revolution — a transformative and civilization-building contemporary discourse. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach and focusing on all fields within the humanities, the journal provides a platform for the production, exchange, and expansion of scholarly engagement surrounding the concepts, foundations, outcomes, and functions of resistance within the context of the Islamic Revolution. The journal seeks to play an active role in academic discourse formation around fundamental themes such as justice-seeking, liberty, human dignity, religious democracy, self-reliance, scientific jihad, revolutionary identity, ummah-centrism, self-sacrifice, and martyrdom. These concepts are examined within the broader contexts of social, cultural, political, economic, educational, legal, communicative, and managerial transformations as well as other humanities-related fields. Currently, the journal is published under the management of Dr. Mohammad-Ghorban Jafari (Editor-in-Chief) and Dr. Saeed Zamani (Scientific Editor). Any instance of plagiarism or self-plagiarism will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript. Retraction Policy To uphold the authenticity and credibility of published scientific content, the journal will issue a formal Retraction for any article found to involve misconduct such as data fabrication, improper analysis, dishonest reporting, plagiarism, or ethical violations. If the validity of the scientific results is questioned due to methodological errors or confirmed misconduct, the article will be marked as “Retracted” and a formal Retraction Statement will be linked to its PDF.
