Scientific Quarterly of “Resistance Thought in the Discourse of the Islamic Revolution” – Author Guidelines The Scientific Quarterly of Resistance Thought in the Discourse of the Islamic Revolution aims to promote and deepen academic knowledge within its specialized domain and welcomes original research articles containing novel and innovative findings. Esteemed professors, researchers, students, and experts are cordially invited to submit the results of their scholarly investigations for evaluation and publication, in full compliance with the principles and regulations outlined in these guidelines. 1) General Conditions for Manuscript Acceptance Editorial Board Authority: The journal reserves the right to evaluate, accept, reject, and carry out scientific and linguistic editing of all submitted manuscripts. Originality and Exclusivity: Submitted articles must be original works and exclusively submitted to this journal. Manuscripts previously published in other journals, conference proceedings, or edited volumes, or those concurrently under review elsewhere, will not be considered. By submitting their work, authors affirm that the manuscript is not under consideration or in the publication queue of any other publication. Plagiarism Detection and Academic Integrity: To safeguard academic integrity and expedite the review process, all manuscripts must be checked by authors using the Samim Noor Plagiarism Detection System before submission. Authors are strongly advised to assess the originality of their work using this tool and upload the similarity report along with their submission. Manuscripts with a high similarity index will be excluded from the review process. Simultaneous Submission Restriction: Authors with a manuscript currently under review in this journal may not submit a new manuscript until a final decision has been made regarding the previous one. 2) Articles Derived from Other Academic Works If the manuscript is derived from a thesis, dissertation, research project, or conference presentation, authors are required to declare the source in the designated section of the submission platform and in the author information file, as follows: From Thesis/Dissertation: Full title, name(s) of supervisor(s) and advisor(s), exact defense date, university, and faculty. From Research Project: Full title, project ID (if applicable), names of collaborators, execution date, and the sponsoring institution. From Conference Presentation: Full title of the conference, date and venue, and organizing institution. Note: Failure to disclose this information constitutes research misconduct. The journal reserves the right to act in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines at any stage, even post-publication. 3) Submission and Review Process Submission Method: All manuscript submissions and status tracking must be carried out through the journal’s electronic submission system. Manuscripts submitted via email or in print will not be processed. Registration: The corresponding author must register on the journal’s platform and accurately complete the required information before submitting the manuscript. Peer Review Process: The journal uses a double-blind peer review system. Authors must ensure that the manuscript file does not include any identifying information. Status Tracking: All correspondence and status updates will be conducted through the corresponding author's personal dashboard on the journal’s website. 4) Nature of Acceptable Manuscripts The journal accepts original research articles that present in-depth analysis, a critical approach, and novel findings within the journal’s thematic focus areas. 5) Required Files for Submission To initiate the review process, authors must upload the following five essential files: Main Article File (Anonymous): Fully compliant with the journal's formatting guidelines, without names or institutional affiliations. Main Article File (With Author Names) Author Information File: A separate page including the full title of the manuscript and complete details of all authors (in order of contribution), in both Persian and English, formatted according to the provided template. Author Commitment Form: Available from the journal’s website; it must include the title and full names of all authors, signed by each, and uploaded as a high-quality scan. Conflict of Interest Form: To be completed and signed by the corresponding author and submitted with the other required documents. Note: A manuscript will only enter the review process once all required files are correctly uploaded and all information is accurately recorded in the system. 6) Article Length and Structural Requirements Word Count: The optimal length for submissions is 6,000 to 9,000 words (including abstract, references, and appendices). Abstract: A structured abstract of 170–200 words, clearly stating the research aim, main question, methodology, and key findings. Keywords: Provide 4 to 7 specialized keywords reflecting the core content of the article. 7) Author Details and Responsibilities Corresponding Author: In multi-authored papers, one author must be designated as the corresponding author, clearly indicated as such in the author information file. All communications and responsibilities rest with this individual. Affiliations: Authors’ affiliations must be provided in both Persian and English, in accordance with one of the following formats: Faculty Members: Academic rank, department, faculty, university, city, country. Persian Abstract: As specified in Section 6. Persian Keywords. Introduction: Statement and explanation of the research problem and question(s), literature review (domestic and international), significance, and innovation. Theoretical Foundations and Conceptual Framework Methodology: Clear explanation of data collection and analysis methods. Findings: Presentation, analysis, and interpretation of research findings in a structured and reasoned manner. Discussion and Conclusion: Final synthesis, direct answers to research questions, comparison with prior studies, and theoretical/practical implications. Acknowledgments (optional): May include appreciation of financial sponsors and contributors with their permission. References: Fully formatted according to APA (7th edition). English Abstract and Keywords: Accurate and fluent translation of the Persian abstract and keywords. 9) Referencing Style (APA 7th Edition) Adhering to APA style is a critical factor in initial manuscript evaluation.
