Author

Abstract
Enjoining good and forbidding wrong (al-amr bi-l-maʿrūf wa-n-nahy ʿan al-munkar) is among the most essential Islamic duties, through which all other religious obligations are upheld. This significant obligation is incumbent upon all qualified individuals. However, achieving its lofty goals undoubtedly requires, first, the establishment of a powerful and dedicated institution within the framework of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and second, the training of experienced and qualified individuals who can effectively carry out this duty. In this article, based on various evidences from the Qur'an, Prophetic tradition, and Islamic history, the necessity of founding such an institution and training specialized personnel is demonstrated. Furthermore, considering the roles and missions of the Basij Resistance Force and Shahid Motahari Basij College, the paper emphasizes the importance of launching a specialized academic program in Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong within this institution.
