In examining the concept of domination in international relations, an important question that arises is: What is the purpose of dominating relations, and which states are exposed to dominating relations? Answering this question can explain some of today's dominant events. In general, the goal of a dominating relationship is to enhance the security of the dominating country and the survival of domination-accepting rulers at the top of power; in other words, it can be said that in the meantime, there is a commodity called security that both parties want to achieve. The intended security is not merely its military dimension, but also includes political, economic, and cultural dimensions. Governments want to continue their rule, and conversely, dominating countries, like America, need these countries for mutual desirability—security—and guaranteeing their hegemony over the world. Therefore, to achieve this, if a country's rulers do not rely on domestic power, dominating relations take shape.
