In the geopolitics of the late twentieth century, one must undoubtedly refer to the Balkans crisis and its situation, which brought a new chapter in the arena of ethnic geopolitics and relations between minorities and central governments. The continuation of the Balkan issues, which in political geography terminology we refer to as balkanization, relates to Southwest Asia. This region is part of the global Balkans known as the Asian Balkans. Countries located in this region benefit from two important features: oil richness and location along energy transit routes. And currently, they face two enemies: Israel and a new enemy called terrorism. Following the failure of America's Greater Middle East project, this country undertook measures to control the disjointed geopolitical space of the Middle East; the basis for the new partition of Muslim countries in the Southwest Asia and North Africa region is based on sectarianism, ethnicity, and religion. In this new plan, 6 countries—Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Yemen—will be turned into 14 countries. Although in the first stage this plan under the title of the New Middle East and Israel's attack on Lebanon and the 33-Day War did not get anywhere and was halted, it led Western politicians to use the instrument of Islamic terrorism, meaning Muslims against Muslims. The research question is: Where is the Asian Balkans and what is the role of Martyr Soleimani in preventing its partition? The present research examines this issue using a descriptive-analytical method. It seems that Martyr Soleimani used the resistance theory against the partition theory. The resistance theory emphasizes returning to roots and creating new bonds with place (in imaging the nation, it is a political movement, because both display the hegemony of power).
