The cyber world, with its unique features alongside the current world, has attracted the attention of norm-breakers. This unrestrained space, which expands every moment, has created a very suitable opportunity for offenders and a set of challenges for judicial and law enforcement authorities trying to control this phenomenon. Therefore, the present research was conducted with the aim of analyzing and investigating the impact of new communication technologies in the commission of crime among youth and adolescents. The dominant approach of the research was quantitative, and its method was survey-based. The statistical population of this research consisted of law enforcement personnel in District 17 of Greater Tehran and the prevention police bases in that region (N=97). To determine the sample size from the statistical population, Bartlett et al.'s table was used, and the sample size was estimated at 83 people (n=83). Simple random sampling was used to select the samples. The main tool for data collection in this research was a researcher-made questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed by a group of experts. Furthermore, a preliminary study was conducted to obtain the reliability of the research tool, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient for different parts of the questionnaire was calculated between 0.848 and 0.921, indicating that the questionnaire has appropriate reliability. The research findings indicate that a positive and significant relationship was observed between the level of productivity of new communication technologies (internet, satellite, and social networks) and the attitude toward crime among adolescents and youths. Also, the results of simultaneous multivariate regression showed that the level of productivity of satellite, internet, and social networks as the most influential factors collectively account for 66.8% of the variance in the commission of crime among adolescents and youths. Based on other findings of the research from the F-test, the results indicate that there is a significant difference at the 0.05 level between the use of various new communication technologies and the rate of crime commission among youths and adolescents. Meanwhile, the average productivity of satellite has the greatest impact on the rate of crime commission among adolescents and youths. Moreover, the results from the T-test indicate that the maximum use of these new technologies has had the greatest impact on committing moral crimes from the respondents' perspective. Finally, based on the research findings, suggestions were provided.
