The Supreme Leader of the Revolution in the Second Step Statement of the Revolution has pointed out issues such as self-purification, society-building, and civilization-building, and in addition emphasized the importance and necessity of the continuation and application of the revolutionary system theory in advancing the goals of the second step of the Islamic Revolution. Therefore, considering the importance of the revolutionary system theory, the purpose of this paper is a thematic analysis of the words self-purification and society-building in the statements of the Supreme Leader in the June 4 speech (as the anniversary ceremony of the demise of Imam Khomeini). The main question of the research is what components and indicators the concepts of self-purification and society-building possess and what their impact is on the continuation of the revolutionary system and ultimately civilization-building. The research hypothesis is based on the fact that the realization of the revolutionary system is primarily a function of the existence of a revolutionary spirit, and in the next stage, to strengthen this category, there is a need for self-purification and society-building in the country. The research findings indicate that extracting the indicators of self-purification and society-building in the thoughts of the Supreme Leader and applying them can play a leading role in the evolution and continuation of the revolutionary system as well as reaching the stage of civilization-building. The research method is descriptive-analytical, and the data have also been collected through a library method.
