To evaluate and analyze the movement of the Islamic Revolution and prevent deviation, especially cultural deviation, attention must be paid to Islamic cultural indicators and axes, and the movement of the Islamic Revolution must be measured against them. Considering that the most important macro-plans of the Islamic Republic for the country's progress are the five-year development plans, for this purpose, one of the reliable ways to monitor the general movement of the system toward the goals of the revolution is to examine the five-year development plans in terms of the degree of impact of the main indicators of the Islamic Revolution's culture in formulating these plans. Therefore, the question of this research is: "Have the cultural indicators of the Islamic Revolution been effective on the defense and security sectors of the fourth, fifth, and sixth five-year development plans?". The type of research is applied, and to examine this issue, a descriptive-analytical method has been used to investigate the impact of these indicators on the formulation of the fourth, fifth, and sixth development plans. Based on the results obtained from this research, the defense and security sectors in the fourth, fifth, and sixth plans have been influenced by the cultural indicators of the Islamic Revolution; however, through a comparative study, it can be said that the impact of cultural indicators in the defense and security sector of the sixth development plan is less than the other two plans. Also, based on the results obtained in the mentioned plans, no propositions contradictory to the cultural indicators of the Islamic Revolution were observed.
