The existence of various insecurities and threats from the United States and the Zionist regime has made the issue of security provision a vital matter for the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The main question raised in this regard is: What components is Iran's strategy to counter these threats based upon? In response to this question, the deterrence strategy can be stated as the main hypothesis in line with securing the country, and its most important components can be considered as deterrence through strengthening military power and developing diplomatic power in order to create regional allies. Therefore, using the library method, reviewing and studying related materials on various websites, information has been gathered, and it can be stated that despite extensive efforts to isolate the Islamic Republic of Iran, the strategy adopted by Iran has well been able to repel military and security threats against the country.
