The victory of the Islamic Revolution confronted the system intoxicated by the victory of liberal democracy in the West with a serious challenge. To escape its potential defeats, the West designed and implemented a vast volume of three spectra of military, security, and cultural threats against the Islamic world, especially the Islamic Revolution. Soft war is the most extensive effort implemented against the nation of Iran and the Islamic Revolution in the form of various political, security, economic, and other plans. Various definitions of soft war have been provided; some have equated soft war with soft power or psychological operations. While there is a vast difference between soft war and other mentioned categories. Soft war is neither soft power nor psychological operations, but rather a complex phenomenon and much beyond the aforementioned cases. To confront this phenomenon, comprehensive models and strategies must be presented; of course, the capacity to address this category exists. In this article, while presenting a conceptual model, various aspects of confrontation will be addressed, and to enter into confrontation measures, the doctrine of the system for confronting soft war and its central strategies—which are somehow among the necessities of preparing and compiling a system—must be addressed. The goals and policies governing the confrontation system will be examined, and the model for confronting the enemy's soft war—including the axes of situational awareness, audience and environment atmospherics, intelligent communication, political, spiritual, and ideological impact, motivation, righteous deed and its expansion, and the organization of cultural cores—has been presented. Also, axes regarding the principles governing the commanders, officers, and soldiers of the soft war to confront the enemy's soft war have been considered.
