The present article has been compiled with the aim of examining the capacities and capabilities of the Basij in preventing soft threats and seeks to answer the question: What is the position of the Basij in this regard? In this research, a descriptive-survey method was used. After confirming the independent and dependent variables and related indicators, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed among the statistical population (complete enumeration) consisting of 24 individuals. Statistical analysis of the data was collected manually, resulting in all items being detailed in five areas as follows:


Cultural domain, such as presence in propaganda coordination councils up to the district level, continuity of Basij values and transferring them to fields of effort and construction, etc.


Political domain, such as utilizing active public diplomacy, establishing and equipping core journalists, activating strata websites, and issuing statements and stances during events, etc.


Economic domain, such as helping to promote the scientific and technical knowledge of youth in the country's construction, presenting the model of Islamic economy by producing quality products and presence in international markets, etc.


Defensive and security domain, such as penetrating hostile internet networks and cooperating in creating counter-networks, establishing the intelligence organization required for soft threats with the index of launching at Basij regional levels, etc.


Meta-domain, such as the power to attract specialized personnel, cultural and economic action in supplying the necessities of the people and Basij members, including covering products with an emphasis on chastity and hijab, etc. The recommendations of the present research are directed toward the continuation of the ongoing analysis by future scholars and researchers so that they can serve as a basis and strategy for the managers of the country's Basij organization.
