Cultural security threats, cultural invasion, and acculturation are potential crises that affect cultural cohesion and usually manifest as cultural threats in two dimensions: divergence from the central government and social deviance. Social and political distrust, decrease in social status, poverty, and deprivation lead to a decline in consensus, unity, and cultural cohesion; on the other hand, cultural unity and cohesion can lead to the conscious cohesion of social groups and play a role in preserving the country's political-cultural independence, and even beyond that, namely the formation of the Islamic Ummah. The question is raised as to what factors lead to the strengthening of cultural unity and cohesion, and at another level, give rise to national trust, national belief, and cultural coalition, and how the Islamic Ummah can be formed through regional cooperation and convergence to reduce the enemy's cultural threats in the region. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to examine the cultural cohesion components of the Islamic Republic of Iran, citing the vision document, the strategic intentions of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader, and cultural functions in order to counter the enemy's threats. This article, in the form of applied research using a descriptive-analytical method and data collection through library research, seeks to answer the core question: What are the components of unity and cultural cohesion of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and considering the changing nature of the enemy's threats, how can this component be used to preserve cultural cohesion?
