With the end of the imposed war and the proven inefficiency of hardware operations against the Islamic Revolution, the enemies of the Islamic system—especially America—adopted a policy of cultural and soft line-drawing for the collapse of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Since the 1370s (1990s AD), America, in order to counter Islam and collapse the religious government of Iran, has undertaken a soft war against our values and national-religious identity through planning and using the most advanced propaganda and mass communication tools, so as to weaken the people's religious beliefs and make our nation indifferent toward preserving and safeguarding the foundations and principles of the Islamic Revolution. It was precisely due to this importance that the Supreme Leader termed university students as the young officers of soft war. The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of students in countering the soft war of the enemy (America) against the Islamic Republic and to present desirable solutions, with an emphasis on the leader's statements. The research method is library-based and retrospective. To achieve this goal, a conceptual model was designed across two fronts: threat and counter-action. On the threat front, the enemy, based on its theoretical foundations (Huntington's approach, Gene Sharp's approach, and the Andalusian approach), seeks to influence the student demographic and society across four dimensions—cultural, political, social, and psychological—in order to thereby achieve its ultimate goal, which is the collapse of the Islamic system; on the counter-action front in this model, emphasizing theoretical foundations (the leader's statements) across the four dimensions of cultural, political, social, and psychological before, during, and after the threat, by influencing the student demographic, we seek to strengthen and stabilize the Islamic system.
