Negligence in the implementation of the religious duty of "Amr bi-l-Ma'ruf wa Nahy 'ani-l-Munkar" (enjoining good and forbidding wrong) is an issue that occupies the minds of today's society, with some believing that this principle has been forgotten. One of the most significant reasons for the neglect of this duty is the absence or weakness of motivation in people's hearts, which stems from a weakening of faith. In addition to weak faith, other obstacles hindering the proper implementation of this duty include: 1) Fear, 2) Poor performance of the duty, 3) Adverse propaganda and media smear campaigns by the enemy, 4) Various excuses, and 5) Negligence by scholars, elites, and government officials. The primary responsibility for removing these obstacles lies with scholars and elites (both in strengthening people's faith and in ensuring officials fulfill their religious and legal duties).
