This study aims to analyze the evolution of educational systems from traditional distance learning to e-learning and online paradigms, emphasizing the distinction between genuine organizational training requirements and technological trends. Employing an analytical-comparative approach and a historical review of educational trends, the article critiques prevalent perspectives in the IT industry and examines the critical components for the successful implementation of virtual training.
The findings indicate that many claims regarding the efficacy of online learning are derived from legacy research on computer-based training. Furthermore, the choice between synchronous and asynchronous models must be predicated on content stability and network infrastructure to prevent resource depletion.Successful e-learning implementation necessitates a shift from a purely technical focus to a strategic framework. Establishing synergetic task forces between Human Resources and Information Technology departments is considered the primary foundation for transitioning from traditional education to modern learning structures.
