After analyzing the received mission, the commander restates the mission and issues planning guidance for the preparation of staff estimates. The intelligence and operations section must analyze the situation and the courses of action of both friendly and enemy forces, compare them, and present the results in the form of intelligence and operational estimates so that the commander can make an accurate and timely decision and issue the necessary orders to counter the enemy. Therefore, the personnel responsible for these duties, particularly those involved in intelligence and operations, must have a comprehensive understanding of the significance and historical background of the subject, as well as the perspectives presented in the Holy Qur’an, by the Prophets (peace be upon them) and the Imams (peace be upon them), together with practical methods of intelligence and operations analysis.
