Every cultural and social organization is established to pursue certain ideals, objectives, and goals. Depending on its structural characteristics, such an organization requires an appropriate form of management and utilizes various levers and models to implement that management effectively.
Throughout history, diverse theories about human nature have emerged. In some instrumentalist perspectives, humans were regarded merely as tools of production, with little to no attention given to their emotions, relationships, or inner motivations. In contrast, the human relations school of thought emphasized the importance of human interactions, emotional dynamics, and personal engagement, which significantly enhanced organizational efficiency, productivity, and adherence to institutional goals and programs.
This paradigm shift highlighted the necessity of incorporating motivation management into the agenda of cultural and social organizations. Accordingly, this paper examines various perspectives on motivation management, aiming to identify practical strategies that enhance the vitality and effectiveness of motivational systems within cultural contexts.
